Be Prepared and Ready to Succeed for Competitive Events, the Anatomage Team Tournament, the Body Interact Virtual Patient Challenge, and the National Geographic Learning MindTap Simulation Center. We hope these tips and reminders will help you make the most out of your experience at the 2021 VILC.
Review Competitive Event Modifications! The Competitive Event Modifications explain how each event is being conducted in the virtual setting.
Be sure you know when your event is taking place! The Competitive Event Schedule lists the time block you should have reserved in your calendar! Your individual appointment time will occur during the designated time block.
Double-check your Competition Appointment! Appointment times will be posted in Competitive Event Headquarters on the virtual conference platform, Communique on Tuesday, June 22 at Noon (EST). Appointment times will NOT be emailed to competitors! Competitors are responsible for finding this information on Communique.
Online Testing – All competitors have a unique login and password for EACH test. On June 9, competitors were emailed their login and password information. If you have not received an email, please contact your local or state advisor for the login information. Competitors are responsible for their own testing information. Each online test will be open for a 4-hour window as listed on the CE Schedule. Academic Testing Center (ATC) tests are available beginning on Wednesday, June 23 until Friday, June 25 at Noon. Competitors are responsible for ensuring they have their testing login information and for reviewing the testing instructions.
Don’t Be Late! No late testers or competitors will be accommodated – if you miss your testing window, you cannot test late. If you miss your event on Zoom with judges, you cannot be rescheduled. Competitors are responsible to know the CE Schedule and their individual appointment time (posted in Communique starting on Tuesday, June 22).
