Jeet Sridhar – President-Elect

And of course there is always joy in witnessing the joy of others” – David Nicholls

For Jeet, leadership has never been about titles or recognition. Instead, it’s been about the people. Rooted in love and driven by service, he found his purpose not in the spotlight, but rather in every late-night phone call to a teammate, every word of encouragement to a nervous competitor, and every moment of quiet support behind the scenes. Jeet’s passion for HOSA has flourished from the care he has for his people. And he fills his heart with the motto that in the joy of others, lies his own.

As an immigrant from India, Jeet first joined HOSA in his sophomore year of high school. A biology major with a minor in neuroscience at the University of South Carolina Honors College, he aspires to be a lead surgeon who brings holistic health, and heartfelt compassion into every patient interaction. Now serving on the International Executive Council, Jeet continues to advocate for a more inclusive, empowered future for healthcare. A future where we not only make an impact on our communities, but also champion change through touching the hearts of one another. His leadership is rooted in humility and driven by a single question he asks daily: “Is there anything else I can do for you.”

Outside of HOSA, you can find Jeet sifting through racks at local thrift stores in search of the perfect Carhartt Jacket. Through his obsession with curry, he’s continuously experimenting in the kitchen to make the best butter chicken. On the same note, he loves to play basketball, perfect his three-pointer, and pray he can one-day dunk, as he looks up to his favorite player: Stephen Curry.

Grounded in the belief that true leadership means uplifting others, Jeet hopes to inspire every HOSA member to lead with love, care, and compassion. Because to him, leadership is less about standing above and more about standing beside.
