LJ Pasion, Eastern Region Vice President, represented HOSA-Future Health Professionals in National Geographic Learning’s Virtual Learning Series Bringing the World into the Classroom, The Need for Diversity in Health Science Curriculum. LJ’s diversity awareness and exposure to and acceptance of diversity was evident in her presentation. It is LJ’s hope that HOSA will continue to be on the forefront of positive change for students and generations to come and she is hopeful that everyone who is open to change will listen and learn. We hope you will listen to LJ’s presentation.
If you are interested in learning more about diversity in the health science classroom, the entire presentation is available for preview at the following link where we were honored to have Bergen Morehouse, CE Director, featured. Bergen shared the importance of understanding how HOSA activities, events and opportunities promote diversity and are part of the health science curriculum.
