Christine Kim joined the HOSA-Future Health Professionals team in 2023 as the HOSA International Executive Council Coordinator. Her involvement in HOSA started in 2010 in the health science classroom as a HOSA chapter member and officer. She then served as the Texas HOSA Area 3 President, Texas HOSA State Vice President, and National Secondary Board Representative. In 2016, promptly after her term on the national executive council, she returned to her home state and began her mentorship of Texas HOSA area and state officers as the Associate Leadership Development Coach. In addition to this, in 2018, she began working with the International Executive Council at the International Leadership Conference (ILC) as the HOSA ILC Executive Council Coordinator and Stage Director.
Beyond her involvement in HOSA, she is currently employed full-time as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). Prior to her advancement into the CVICU, Christine honed her nursing skills and acumen in med/surg and emergency nursing. Her passion for developing leadership skills, promoting career growth, and nurturing the next generation of nursing professionals is evident as she also works with new graduate RNs as a system-wide hospital nurse educator.
Christine graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Baylor University and earned her Master of Science in Nursing Education from the University of Texas at Arlington.
She enjoys learning new things, traveling, and spending time with family. She is excited to give back to the organization that has given her so much through the years.
