Summer serves as the State Advisor/Executive Director for Minnesota HOSA-Future Health Professionals through the HealthForce Center of Excellence at Winona State University. Her professional background includes career counseling, higher education, donor development, and sales and marketing. In addition to her state-level responsibilities, Summer proudly represents Minnesota as the Central Region State Advisor on the HOSA, Inc. Board of Directors and serves as a public member of the Minnesota Board of Nursing. She is currently enrolled in the Masters of Public Health: Health Behavior & Promotion program through Minnesota State Mankato. Summer is passionate about creating meaningful opportunities for students and strengthening the healthcare workforce pipeline—especially in rural and underserved communities. Outside of her professional roles, she enjoys traveling, running, listening to podcasts, and spending time with friends and family.
