When Youstina joined HOSA in 2018, she was inspired by the love and support she gained from a driven community passionate about making a positive impact in the world. Through HOSA, Youstina found her people, her team, her second family. As a five-year HOSA member and a sophomore at Belmont University majoring in Biology with a Chemistry minor on a pre-medicine track, Youstina is ready to use her diverse background to provide that same loving and inclusive community to all new and current HOSA members. She’s a firm believer of the phrase “love every idea for five minutes” and she aspires to create a safe environment in which members feel like they can freely give their opinions and suggestions to enhance our incredible organization. Youstina dreams of working alongside her teammates to expand the Postsecondary/Collegiate Division, all while providing each Chartered Association the resources they need to ensure their success. Youstina also aspires to begin new conversations with potential International Chartered Associations as HOSA continues to expand on the International level! Aside from sparking up conversations and making new friends, Youstina enjoys telling a dad joke or dancing (specifically the Cotton Eye Joe or Footloose). She enjoys any adventure and all things spontaneous. Whether you want to discuss HOSA, hear a dad joke, or just need a friend to talk to, Youstina is always ready to either talk or listen!
