NaShieka Knight is the Director of Workforce Transformation at the Association of American Medical Colleges, where she leads national initiatives focused on expanding and strengthening the healthcare workforce. In this role, she advances efforts to support learner mental health and well-being, promote equity-informed educational pathways into medicine and research, and catalyze systems-level change across academic medicine. She contributes to multi-year, cross-sector projects that connect K–12, local and national pathway programs, and undergraduate colleges and universities with medical schools and academic health centers to reimagine readiness and access. With a background in theology and a commitment to equity-centered leadership, NaShieka brings an interdisciplinary lens to fostering learner thriving and workforce transformation.
