Jeet Sridhar - International President

“And of course there is always joy in witnessing the joy of others” — David Nicholls

For Jeet, HOSA has always been personal. Not in a self-serving way, but in the way that matters most: he genuinely loves the people in it. That love is what gets him out of bed, what keeps him in the conversation, and what makes everything else he does feel less like obligation and more like home. That is the thread running through everything he has done in HOSA, small moments of genuine care that added up to something much bigger than he planned.

As an immigrant from India, Jeet first joined HOSA in his sophomore year of high school. Now a double major in biology and neuroscience, with a minor in chemistry at the University of South Carolina Honors College, he aspires to become a lead surgeon who integrates holistic health and heartfelt compassion into every patient interaction. Now stepping into this role, Jeet is committed to redefining what leadership in healthcare looks like, not just by raising the bar, but by widening the door for every student who walks through it. His vision is of a future where HOSA members don’t simply make an impact on their communities, but by genuinely touching the hearts of one another.

His leadership is grounded in humility and guided by a single question he asks every day: “Is there anything else I can do for you?”

Outside of HOSA, you can find Jeet sifting through racks at local thrift stores in search of the perfect Carhartt jacket. Through his ongoing obsession with curry, he continuously experiments in the kitchen, always chasing a better butter chicken. He loves to play basketball, perfect his three-pointer, and hold out hope that one day he’ll dunk.

Grounded in the conviction that true leadership means uplifting others, Jeet steps into this presidency with one purpose: to inspire every HOSA member to lead with love, care, and compassion, and to redefine the standard, not by standing above, but by standing beside.
