As HOSA celebrates a long-awaited in-person return and looks toward the endless possibilities of the future, Corey is honored to be a part of this magical experience and serve as HOSA’s Secondary Board Representative. A freshman at the University of Pennsylvania, Corey is majoring in biology on a pre-medicine track, with aspirations to pursue medical research or general surgery. He aims to become an inspiring voice for up-and-coming HOSA members around the globe who are ready to take their healthcare journeys to the next level. Now, as the world emerges from a pandemic and takes on the challenges of tomorrow, Corey sees tremendous potential in prioritizing not only continued service to the global community, but also spearheading growth as HOSA expands beyond international and intercontinental boundaries. Especially as the world moves towards a future that foresees drastic shortages in healthcare workers, now is the perfect time to leverage the voices of current and future HOSA members and provide them with the resources and opportunities to not only get involved, but stay involved. Beyond the confines of HOSA, some of Corey’s favorite pastimes include swimming, watching sports (especially the Super Bowl!), playing the piano, and performing magic tricks (he always has something up his sleeve). Corey is beyond ecstatic to serve HOSA’s diverse membership and to give back to a HOSA family that he has held close to his heart for the past five years.
