“Life is too deep for words, so don’t try to describe it, just live it.” – C. S. Lewis

First hearing the name “HOSA” ringing through the halls of his high school from the loudspeaker when he was in ninth grade, Ahdaf joined the organization in 2019, never fathoming just how impactful it would be on his life years down the line. Now setting the tone for his future aspirations in healthcare, HOSA inspired Ahdaf to pursue a career as a physician where he is working toward achieving his BS/MBA/MD degrees as a freshman in the 8-year Leadership in Medicine Program at Union College/Clarkson University/Albany Medical College. Embroidering cards and sweatshirts by day and serving as an EMT by night, Ahdaf is dedicated to weaving together both his passion for creativity and desire to help others by serving HOSA-FHP as its Eastern Region Vice President this year. Fortunate to have been involved in HOSA as a general member, local officer, and state officer, Ahdaf aspires to apply his experiences from each level to cater to the needs of the individual HOSA member as an International Officer. He sees the potential in enhancing the HOSA experience not only for active members but also for graduated members by closing the gap within the alumni division. When he hangs up his HOSA suit and sets his name tag aside, Ahdaf can be found at his nearest LA Fitness likely working out his arms, in his room learning a new Shawn Mendes song on the guitar, or making a late-night drive to see his friends.
