From 2018 to now, Aashna’s journey in HOSA – Future Health Professionals has brought her many incredible opportunities, unforgettable experiences, and meaningful connections. It is thanks to HOSA that she has grown as a leader, a healthcare advocate, and a dedicated member of the organization. A sophomore at UT Austin, she is pursuing a degree in Health and Society with aspirations to address healthcare disparities and explore the potential of healthcare technology to close these gaps.

In her role as the Post-Secondary/Collegiate Board Representative, Aashna is committed to fostering unity and open communication within the post-secondary/collegiate HOSA community.  She understands the value of a supportive network and aims to be a resource for post-secondary/collegiate chapters, and the broader HOSA community, just as they have been a source of guidance and support throughout her own journey. In her free time she enjoys long walks with her dog Hari, catching up on the latest “booktok” novel, and finding new cities to explore with her friends!
