HOSA's partner, CVS Health has just announced an exciting opportunity for pharmacy school students--CVS's first-ever Spanish Immersion Internship Program. The 2017 Spanish Immersion Internship provides the CVS and non-CVS intern the opportunity to participate in the care of patients with a variety of acute and chronic conditions, focusing on the Hispanic community and utilizing the Spanish language.

HOSA is proud to announce a new HOSA Intern Program with the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR), in Washington, D.C. this summer (May-August 2017). You will be allowed to attend HOSA's International Leadership Conference if you wish to attend. And if there are other dates with your summer schedule that are of concern, there "might" be some flexibility with the schedule.

The HOSA-Future Health Professionals is proud to announce the 2017 HOSA, Inc. Chair, Brock Rops, who was recently elected at the annual Board of Directors Meeting held in Southlake, Texas. Other officers elected: Dr. Peggy Enslen, Chair-Elect (DE), and Janet Villarreal, Board Secretary (TX).
HOSA is excited to work with NAMI for the next two years in raising funds and awareness for mental illness. Texas HOSA has stepped up and is challenging it's members to the Popsicle Challenge in order to "Freeze Mental Illness in its Tracks."
