Health Professions Week (HPW) brings healthcare and education professionals together to highlight the many opportunities available in the healthcare field. There’s no charge to participate in the virtual fair, and you can register now. The HPW Virtual Fair is the largest event of its kind! The Virtual Fair is when all attendees can connect with healthcare practitioners, current students, and staff from over 20 health professions. Participate by logging into the virtual fair and visiting at least one booth. Ask questions, get answers, and get rewarded! Don’t miss out on this series of virtual events, live chats, interactive experiences and on-demand content that will start Saturday, November 14, 2020 and end Thursday, November 19, 2020. Here are three tips to ensure you get the most out of this experience.
Tip #1: Ask Yourself What You Hope to Get Out of HPW
Health Professions Week (HPW) is an event designed just for YOU. You make it what you want. Is there just one single event that you are interested in? Great. Plan to attend for just that event. Have three or four events that are interesting to you – you can plan for that too. If you have just 15 minutes per day, you can experience each of the HPW events!
Tip#2: Explore
Specifically, Explore Careers Confidently! We want to challenge you to pick two or three health professions you might know nothing about and ask questions designed to help you learn more! Each event is designed to help you figure out what questions you have; then you can ask them by visiting with the healthcare providers and current students whom you’ll meet during the HPW Virtual Fair on Thursday, November 19th from 3pm to 8pm eastern (that’s noon to 5pm if you are on the west coast).

Register today so you’ll get all of our awesome email tips and tricks before the event. Make a plan to attend. Put HPW2020 (November 14-19) in your calendar, or set a reminder on your phone, but set time aside now so that you don’t forget to attend. You may even win a scholarship or $100 gift card just for attending!
Participating students can enter to win one of thirty gift cards valued at $100 each or one of eight scholarships valued at $500. We also have 5 sets of Kaplan Subject Review Books to give away in November! It’s really simple to become eligible to win – participate in at least one of our fun events during the week and then ask a question during the virtual fair on Thursday, November 19th from 3-8pm Eastern.
Teachers and educators will also be eligible to win one of ten gift cards valued at $100 when you share HPW content with your classroom (either in-person or virtually!). All educators should register for HPW2020, too, in order to receive HPW content for your classroom before any of the “live” events. Most materials will remain available for educators to use into winter and spring 2021.

The fine print – you know we had to have it: Limit one prize per person. Eligible teachers and educators must demonstrate use of HPW materials in their classroom on or before November 19, 2020 and apply for a gift card. Selected winners may be asked to confirm their name and email address before receiving any prize or award. Winners must be registered with HPW to receive a prize. Winners who do not claim prizes within a reasonable time frame may be disqualified and a new recipient may be selected. Winners of Kaplan Subject Review Books may select any subject review course, valued at $270.
