Goodheart-Willcox Outstanding Service Award

The 2016-2017 Goodheart-Willcox Outstanding Service Awards recognize local HOSA chapter advisors, one from each of the three HOSA regions who have made outstanding contributions of local, regional, state and national significance to the promotion, development, and progress of HOSA–Future Health Professionals. The award sponsor, one of HOSA’s loyal partners, Goodheart-Willcox Publisher strongly believes in the HOSA mission and is honored to sponsor these awards for HOSA advisors whose contributions serve to educate today’s youth to be tomorrow’s health professionals.

A publishing leader in health science education, Goodheart-Willcox provides textbook programs for anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, introduction to health sciences and medical law and professional ethics. One of theses resources, Introduction to Health Science: Pathways to Your Future is on the list of HOSA Competitive Events Resources.

Goodheart-Willcox is proud to support HOSA chapter advisors by sponsoring the National HOSA Outstanding Service Awards program for the third consecutive year. On Friday evening, June 24 at the HOSA 2016 International Leadership Conference Recognition Session in Nashville, Tennessee, cash awards of $2000 and recognition plaques were presented to the selected advisors. These three advisors have careers marked by actions that encourage members to fully respond to HOSA opportunities and benefits. Their contributions go above and beyond to promote HOSA to students interested in health professions. Goodheart-Willcox is grateful to these local chapter advisors for sharing their expertise and leadership with thousands of HOSA members.
