2015 Goodheart-Willcox Outstanding Service Awards

The Goodheart-Willcox Outstanding Service Awards recognized three local HOSA chapter advisors, one from each HOSA region who have made outstanding contributions of local, regional, state and national significance to the promotion, development, and progress of HOSA–Future Health Professionals. The award sponsor, one of HOSA’s newest partners, Goodheart-Willcox Publisher strongly believes in the HOSA mission and was honored to partner with HOSA in educating and training today’s young people to be tomorrow’s health professionals.. Goodheart-Willcox thanks chapter advisors for sharing their talents and leadership with thousands of HOSA members.

Goodheart-Willcox is fast becoming a publishing leader in health science education, including new textbook programs for anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, introduction to health sciences and medical law and professional ethics. Goodheart-Willcox is extremely proud to support HOSA chapter advisors by sponsoring the National HOSA Outstanding Service Awards program.


On Friday evening, June 26 at the 2015 National Leadership Conference during the National Recognition Session, cash awards of $2000 were presented to three advisors. These advisors have careers marked by actions that encourage members to fully respond to HOSA opportunities and benefits. Their contributions go above and beyond to promote HOSA to students interested in health professions.
