It has been a great day for HOSA and everyone in Orlando is excited about the 35th Annual National Leadership Conference (NLC)!

The 2012 HOSA NLC officially begins tomorrow. The national staff has been preparing for the arrival of 7,100 conference delegates, judges, VIPs and guests all day.

The competitive events staff met early this morning to prepare for the 5,800 competitors and 56 competitive events that will take place over the next three days.

State officers attended HOSA's Leadership University 301 designed to help officers grow as leaders and become great HOSA ambassadors.

State advisors spent the afternoon collecting conference materials and receiving some well-deserved praise for their service to HOSA at the state advisors dinner. HOSA would like to thank DEPCO, LLC for sponsoring dinner.

Twenty-two national officer hopefuls began the screening process with an orientation session and exam. Qualifying candidates will be scheduled for interviews on Wednesday with the nominating committee.

The HOSA National Executive Council hosted a reception for state presidents to network, share ideas and celebrate HOSA accomplishments this year.

After a long day of traveling students, advisors and guests arrived in Orlando, Florida happy to reach their final destination.
