Members and chapters will track their volunteer hours and money raised through the HOSA Activity Tracking System. Students from 6 HOSA Chapters have been awarded travel scholarships to the 3rd Annual America’s ToothFairy Oral Health Zone Summit, held June 12-13th at 3D Systems in Rock Hill, SC. The America’s ToothFairy Oral Health Zone Summit will provide these students with the opportunity to explore dentistry from a public health perspective, learn about the role of technology in the dental space, participate in an oral health service project, and network with dental health professionals from across the country.
Janet Villarreal, the Texas HOSA State Advisor and Hugo Quezada, National HOSA President-Elect, attended and delivered bilingual greetings at the celebration commemorating the 25th anniversary of Puerto Rico HOSA. HOSA—Future Health Professionals is pleased to announce, along with the Office of the Civilian Volunteer Medical Reserve Corps (OCVMRC) in the Office of the Surgeon General, the 2014 HOSA-OSG Internship application.
